This seems to be nothing more than typical politicians playing politics. What is not being discussed is that no other feasible bidder came through for this contract (which is why THNK was alone in the competition and why the deal was so easily won).   The real story about this news is that we learned exactly how large the contract with THNK is (roughly $50M) and that THNK has to date only ...more

i) Is it collusion if a prospective buyer could not find  new executive leadership and doesn't want to deal with current management? and ii) SA may believe ? what he's been saying ( which is why he continues as a shareholder) but he lacks the experience or has the arrogance to overpromise/ underdeliver. The collusion comment (which I'll admit is extreme language with some underlying truth) is that Beedie controls a significant portion of the company because management kept taping their credit line not because it needed cash (at least not nearly as much as what they've drawn) but because it allowed them to stay onside with covenants.
