Very often the Exchange looks at the news and deeems it material  or wants to verify it. Happens a lot since Bre-x scam.This gives the market the chance to look at the news before it opens.

Doesn't explain why it was released on a BB before the proper channels does it..!!!!! And you wonder why I lost faith in management..!!
