Zactima and 4601
Last night I wrote about Astra Pipeline and how 4601 would fit with it.

Astra is now adopting a collaboration approach for it's pipeline and personalized medecine strategy to salvage as much value as possible.
Astra has been heavily investing in Zactima & Recentin, which could turn out okay but not great or worse they could become big money losers.
Zactima is the least impressive PIII compound available. A TKI inhibitor which was believe to be superior to (tarceva and avastin combo).
However it failed twice

Combo with 4601 would salvage that drug.
Acquistion of 4601 would fit AstraZeneca pipeline, also gives it new hope and fits perfectly with their strategy.
