Anyone have a problem with the word devious, then here are a few synonyms. Underhanded, deceitful, dishonest, dishonorable, unethical, unprincipled, immoral, unscrupulous, treacherous, crafty, cunning, conniving, scheming, shady.

He is no doubt an nefarious character who needs the money any way he can get it.

Anyone having a problem with the the word nefarious then here are a few synonyms. Wicked, evil, sinful, iniquitous, egregious, odious, despicable, corrupt, heinous, villainous, diabolical, last but not least, aszhole.
