The AMR Challenge launched at the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in September 2018. The kick-off event was filmed live and is available on YouTube.

CDC is accepting commitment submissions through August 2019. In September 2019, the U.S. Health and Human Services and CDC will applaud the year-long effort at the UN General Assembly, where antimicrobial resistance will continue to be a priority topic for world leaders.
