I doubt they will go for Sanders. The support for Biden was simply to avoid the “Sanders Trap.” They realize the American public will not vote for socialist fantasies. I think the strategy is to engineer a deft replacement –  Biden’s VP will be chosen for him. Whether Biden wins or not – he will soon be replaced by someone acceptable to the Democratic Establishment.
