RE:So...Skier, the same price down ticking occurred yesterday. This is f'n illegal. I know because I used to work at an investment firm that was subject to an OSC review and this kind of activity occurred and the senior equity trader was banned FOR LIFE from further trading. Carreer over. The existence of the investment firm was over as all the institutional client had to leave. The situation there was not intended to manipulate the price for the benefit of the firm but it still happened. The OSC classified it as creating an artificial market for the underlying stock affected. But this kind of $hit with Theralase still happens here in Canada on the Vancouver exchange between Anonymous designated brokers and they completely get away with these f'n manipulative games. THis is being done for the benefit of someone who wants to short the stock of Theralase or eventually take it over or should I say, "take it under" at a very cheap price. It really pisses me off and I am getting closer to filing a formal complaint with the OSC.
