RE:The relevance of this election re: TLT and SZLSIt looks like there are going to be two runoffs for senate seats in Georgia. The Democrats need to win them both to tie the Republicans with 50 seats each in the senate. If they do this then Kamala Harris as Vice President, and therefore President of the Senate, has the ability to cast a senate vote only in the event of a tie. Vice President Mike Pence currently has that power.
