The internet makes some people crazy.

I hear ya Pando,

I don't think the media/govts have been straight with us. I mean they never gave HCQ any love once Trump mentioned it, yet the countries where it is widely available or taken regularly for Melaria, etc., there have been much less death/hospitilizations. So get a hold of some Q at the very least, Yes, large amounts of D3 helps, and Pepcid of all things, one or two a day, Then there is Zinc and either the HCQ/Q above or Querticen to help it ionize into the virus. Those would be my daily regimen If I ever felt symptoms of anything viral. Yes that steriod sounds like the best they have in hospitals where HCQ is politically unavailable. And for late stage they really need something else like that Regeneron, but they don't have many doses of that available. Perhaps 1433 is the ultimate answer? Dr. Coombs comes through for us in 2021? For both Covid 19 and our bank accounts.

I could say that or I could say that I just meant to say viruses but I have corona on my mind and I got carried away with my typing -- fingers working, brain not! Nothing serious, I'll do the easy out i.e. age related :-)) Forgot we always have fact checkers.

Well, maybe, once we have Covid 19 vaccines out there, we will also have good therapeutics that will finally be a 'cure' for the proverbial 'common cold'. :-)

Rumpl3StiltSkin, being an old guy I would feel a hell of a lot more comfortable if we had the medicines/therapeutics to actually make a person better after catching the disease. The vaccine is good and after a lengthy rollout and the "time" factor we will know how effective it is.
In the meantime people just keep catching the disease and many, many end up in hospital and there is no real effective treatment. They tell us through the news media how much headway they have made on therapeutics but at the same time the main mentions are Remdesivir (since slammed) and Regeneron (very little application to the general crowd - especially because of cost). Other than that what have they produced? Main push seems to be Dexamethasone, a steroid drug from years ago. My wife was on that for a chemo anti-nausea therapy in 2011 - 2013.
They're also using Vitamin D3 as a deterrent?? but what other good effective new stuff has been approved -- especially here in Canada.
I would really like to know if I was to end up in hospital they had something other than dexamethasone to give to me and something without all those awful side effects. There's not much on the news lines. CYDY and AGN are both repurposed drugs with good safety profiles and limited side effects but they are tied up in drawn out blind studies - probably some of which is that they are not "big pharma". Also they are both targeted more towards lung injury as opposed to an "overall" therapeutic although the CYDY 'Vyrologic' appears to be more broadly effective.

When I hear of that "magic" medicine I will feel a lot more free to be out and about.
