I agree...QOL is ultimately the most important measure of treatment success for both patients & docs. With FDA approval, I would hope our esteemed physicians on the MSAB will champion this new PDT/PDC approach at their respective institutions. Such physician leaders can play a significant role in getting community specialists to adopt new treatment technologies via their participation/influence with the AUA in the formation of new treatment guidelines/standards of care. Actively participating in the teaching/training of future specialists can also play an important role, & Dr. Kamat has been recognized as one of the best to do just that. TLT will just need to pass him the torch...JMO. Good luck...
