RE:Manipulation?
In Canada there is a petition to the government to stop or deter the ease shortsellers have in their manipulative tactics since the elimination of the uptick rule. Absolutely nothing has occured desite discussion and suggestions. It is my opinion that big business has enough control over our government that they are no longer willing to do anything more than cow to big business and do enough for the voters to stay elected. So all the big banks, trading firms and billion dollar hedge funds can short at will without buying any shares and borrowing our shares to conplete any so called trade. This gives a huge advantage to the large firms to realize huge profits and small startups an unfair disadvantage when trying to raise capital without too much dilution or shareholder disappointment.
