Hardware Requirement impact on FDA approval
Does requiring a piece of hardware (laser) for the treatment impact the approval cycle and also attractiveness to potential partners versus a 'drug only' solution? It would seem to add complication and cost for hospitals. There's lots of medical hardware for various things, of course, but versus a 'drug only' solution, what kind of 'drag' does needing hardware add to the picture?
