PDT and RDT more likely destroy the cancer stem cells along with the main tumour because they trigger the immune system T cells to recognize any new cancer cells and destroy them. Adding a Checkpoint inhibitor allows the TCells to avoid being blocked.
Exactly. All these scrub-a-dub drugs. It's like trying to wash mold off a surface using bleach. The mold will just slowly grow back so they keep repeating the same.
