For those that are familiar with such process from the industry, negociations for a jv will take few months and that's the reasons why TLT management mentioned: "plan to iniatiate discussion in 2023/2024 with large pharmaceutical companies for the NMIBC treatment". So those that think a jv is imminent are in for a deception as such process involves the following steps

Science no doubt this is a long drawn out process. Do we know for a fact though that it has not begun. Certainly if they are talking to someone no matter how in depth those conversations & info exchange are we are not privy to them. I imagine we will only hear when it is a done deal. Is that correct?

You are correct to say that we should not hear about potential negociations as big pharmas will require discretion, like in any negociations.  Big boys like to keep their cards close to their chest.  One day, there will probably have some sorts of rumors, but there's no guarantees on that front.  Of course, any hostile takeover would force TLT Board to go out

Ok, I agree. A JV or buyout right away is unlikely. But I'd be shocked if we don't get the BTD fairly soon. And AA later this year. So by next year. Mid year we should have something like a JV/buyout in hand. IMO

I agree Rump and if there is a PP happening it's just them being prudent. Adding a few shares to the total means nothing in the long run. It's basically keeping an eye open for any news releases and shutting out the noise.

IF there is a PP right now? It is probably because TLT is spending the money as promised, on keeping this study 2 going full on, plus GLP and maybe some lab work supporting other Phase 1s. All of this stuff takes $$$$$

As of now, there is no additional info that guarantees this raise will be at a better price than the last time, where they struggled to raise any money for a month and then closed it with a paltry amount bought by insiders.  Why would investors buy anything this time without a material update first?   If the BTD is imminent, wouldn't you as the CEO wait till that happens before

The amount purchased was the required amount determined by the Exchange for that type of "private placement'. The amount was 25% of the total offering. Which is exactly what the did. I think that the point was that they did an initial PP which was fully subscribed. They then must have felt that there was enough interest to do a FOLLOW ON PP which was not that well subscribed. Probably because it was only available to "accredited investors". That is not a huge pool. My opinion is that the evidence from the follow on should have told them that, without publicity

That's why we're all hoping a "material"  news release happens before the next raise (assuming it's needed and coming based on our assumptions about the volume jump and price decline today). Hope that's just flippers like you said.  End of the day, we are all eagerly awaiting some good updates.

It seems 'the market' isn't going to assign this company credibility until the the FDA does it for them officially first. Can't say I'm too surprised. It's a common dilemma with small companies I think. They may have used up all their mulligans in the past at this point. We also might not know until mid/late June if the company met their 1Q 2023 self-imposed BTD application

Given my read on the poster data, they would have been smartest to have submitted once they hit 34 patients at 450 days which would have been in mid or End Feb. The reason I think 34 is smart is that they could have presented the total data set AND commented on the set with the ones that never got a chance to be retreated from the low dose 12. That would be 34 total and Something like 25-28

There was no need to wait until they got 34 patients treated. The company was very specific in the conditions that needed to be met to achieve BTD as laid out years ago and reinterated ever since.They needed 20-25 patients with a CR rate of at least 20% at 450 days. That was achieved at the end of August 2022. The question that continues to baffle me is if getting BTD is a binary event and if

I'm beginning to believe that they don't want any treatment that is safe and effective (sounds familiar?) to be on the market to compete with Big Pharma.  Theralase drugs are probably are the most effective drugs to come out in decades and TLD-1466 haven't been

That makes a lot of sense DJDawg. It would be great to be able to present the FDA with the 450 day results of 25 optimized patients so they can get a more accurate read on the true efficacy of the treatment.

I would like to have data at 450 days for 25 patients post undertreated 12 so 37 total. That way the FDA will have data on 25 that followed the actual protocol of the trial. I suspect that may be what they have been advised to do in their consultations with the FDA.

  Imo, the end result of the underdosed 12 has nothing to do with their data results & more to do with shortening the timeframe to that "25 patient" threshold.   Re: a decision for an accelerated approval, data soundness is even more applicable & such a decision is based on a smaller subset of patients.... the first 12 treated should in no way be considered in that determination.   If the optimized data continue to trend favorably, I don't believe such a determination would pose any significant delays, especially if you were to
