Kind of like this statmentThe Theralase® CLT technology has been a godsend to these patients faced with no known cure for their disease."
Comment by Kingpin68 on Feb 14, 2024 11:10pm
So, although these initial comments are encouraging for Parkinson's, this is a double blind study where neither the patients or researchers know which is the real laser and which is not. Likely it's pretty obvious the real laser is working, but it seems premature to make these comments considering the structure of the study, and that any placebo effect hasn't been ruled out yet.  ...more
Comment by Longholder99 on Feb 15, 2024 7:18am
The positive results have already been demonstrated.  It seems like the formalized double blind testing is a formality.  Won't be long before it becomes unethical to not allow the placebo group access to the real laser.  This is unexpected and another layer to the Theralase story that makes the company a target for buyout.
Comment by cytochrome on Feb 15, 2024 9:16am
Theralase is NOT the only company researching the effects of photobiomodulaiton for Poarkinson's and other neurodegenerative diseases as well as post-concussion syndrome. The wavelenghts and even dosaging are pretty similar by all researchers and devices available. We need a lot more good, RCTs and better understanding before consistent postiive resutls can be quantified so donlt put the cart ...more

Longholder99 good point. Here is an aticle about Light therapy and Parkinson's.https://apdaparkinson.org/article/light-therapy-for-parkinsons-disease/ Under '' Available light therapy devices''. It is said'' Because light therapy delivered via the eyes or the skin has minimal side effects, multiple light-emitting devices have already been designed, marketed and are ...more

I am not trying to disparage your comments. Super pulsed has nothing to do with photobiomodulation effects specifically as most research is done with wavelengths in the near infrared 780-1000 nm range. It just so happens Theralase uses super pulsed which is always 904 or 905 nm because of the laser diode properties. Many other non-super pulsed diodes using other wavelengths would also work as the ...more

Forgive me, is this stuff something that could bring us increased value near term, or what's the gig with this recent pr? Sounds good, but is it something that could bring us a boost in the not so distant future? Would be sweet if te tech could be used for Parkinsons
Comment by Longholder99 on Feb 15, 2024 11:52am
Seems like if the laser and the prototype head gear cause a reduction in symptoms.  Probably would sell more than they are by many X..  so revenue up.  Bring notoriety and a bottom line boost.
Comment by cytochrome on Feb 15, 2024 12:14pm
They coudn't market it for Parkinson's based on one trial. They would need the indication from Health Canada/FDA which no one has to date and likely would not happen without a lot more robust RCTs. It would just be indirect marketing related to a published study so unlikely this would signfiicantly increase sales IMO

I suspect Dr Albano and the University of Windsor Faculty of Human Kinetics went through some sort of diligence in regulatory considerations and marketability studies, prior to wasting their time and Theralase.  You know.....being Drs and all.  Guess we shall see if DR Albano et al or the guy on the internet is right.  Eventually

I'm in the impression that cyto is working hard on the last NR. Many posts on the same subject, not much positive at all! Why? Nobody knows!
Comment by O12009 on Feb 15, 2024 3:13pm
You all need to go back to Crypto's history and you will see he works very hard to put doubt in the mine of investors. That's his job.
Comment by cytochrome on Feb 15, 2024 5:58pm
Oh ffs I bought stock today. Trying to keep it real here. I assume some of you want some accurate information and I've provided that. Being a realist and understanding that NR is what I was trying to do. Conspiracy theories never cease to amaze me....
Comment by cytochrome on Feb 15, 2024 6:01pm
Theuy got a grant for research and some free equipment....yes we will see who is right...perhaps my posts weren't indicative of the knowledge I have....
Comment by Longholder99 on Feb 15, 2024 6:13pm
Maybe you should call Dr Albano and straighten him out with your knowledge.
Comment by cytochrome on Feb 15, 2024 6:41pm
Good one! i'm reeling over here lol. I actually posted positive research on the tiopic should you care to read. I thought this board is interested in objective debate and intelligent discourse. I stand corrected based on your comments...thanks for straightening me out ;)
Comment by Benedictus on Feb 15, 2024 11:05pm
Welcome to the SH board cyto but Id advise quickly figuring out the couple of posters here actually worth reading and ignoring the vast majority of ankle biters who will attack any poster who dares question that their blessed Theralase isnt headed to $20 very soon. Theres virtually no discussion or desire to understand the reality of the current share structure limiting factors, estimated peak ...more

Benadick---Says he owns shares in TLT----But he's the BIGGEST  Deebie DOWNER-----soft basher.
Comment by Lesalpes29 on Feb 16, 2024 8:53am
What are you doing in life... Euh ... I am soft bashing a company that is trying to save lives with their tech. Simply wow!
Comment by cytochrome on Feb 16, 2024 9:17am
Yes I do own shares and I am not the BIGGEST Debbie downer. Nice to know the counter earth you live in is devoid of logic and intelligent debate. My money is on PDT for certain types (not ALL) cancers and it's not on treating Parkinson's  with Theralase just because there's a study at the Univeristy of Windsor with donated MacGyvered laser equipment...
Comment by Impalaman on Feb 16, 2024 9:26am
So--cytochrome and Benadicktus are the same poster---biggg---mistake---we  now have two--Debbie Downers on the boared.
Comment by Impalaman on Feb 16, 2024 9:37am
He posted under Benadictus--and answered-under--cytochrome.
Comment by Eoganacht on Feb 16, 2024 12:12pm
It's too early to make a judgement on whether PDT will be able treat all forms of cancer or not. It can clearly treat cancers that lie close to the surface of the inner lining of an organ (like the bladder) or on the surface of the skin. We are awaiting a trial (hopefully coming soon), which will test how effective PDT can be treating deep seated tumours with systemic administration of ...more

It's not too early. Do you actually think all of the other promising treatments out there including gene therapy won't have a role to play?? It's hard to debate with people who aren't logical. So the if the study is positive...which it probably will be...then what?? The money pours in? There are already positive trials published ( https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34092640/) and ...more

Poor Dr Albano.  Has a PhD.  Is head of a faculty in human Kinetics at a major University. Didn't check in with cytochrome and his thesaurus before he took on a project. Silly omniscient Dr Albano.

Cyto, Everest College was closed down, so he probably doesn't work there. Why slander Albano, what did he ever do to you? You probably shouldn't have stopped posting for 4 years, you have too much pent up.
Comment by gebremeskel on Feb 17, 2024 12:03pm
Don't blame Cyto. Dykheads gonna be dykheads. Amazing amount of projection in his posts - never seen such illogical stuff. He doesn't even seem to read the content of the replies to his posts, or maybe he/she just doesn't understand them...Just keeps repeating the same formula  - the other posters think they're.smart but really they're all stupid and illogical. But unlike ...more

Geez Cyto, what's your story? You're obviously into lasers and very knowledgeable, that 4 years ago you had a lot to say about TLT lasers. Then nothing for 4 years until the news releases on the Parkinson's story and your back in the spot light about lasers again and everything else. What were you doing for 4 years ? Helping potential investors I guess, well it's a free country ...more

I took a break because I was hoping things changed here a little...nope. I continue to be a realist wrt to this stock and hope it does well on the PDT. Iggy will go back into hibernation so the gang with pitchforks and torches can get back to their daily routines of self awareness and piety..

cytochrome, you posted "I actually posted positive research", on TLT. I've looked at your history and can't find that positve post. Could you please give me the date of that post? Thank you in advance.
