RE:OKay......here is the question for which I lack an answer...For the first part of the question, I think you are wondering about the timing of buying and timing of newsreleases. There are regulations or guidelines governing issuance of newsreleases and in the absence of the regular filings such as financial reports, agm announcements, etc. there are no hard and fast rules. It is all based on subjective interpretation of material information. Material information has to be disclosed within 48 or 72 hours, I forget the exact number, but a day doesn't really make a difference. An insider could get in hot water if he transacted with the knowledge of some material information that is subject to a newsrelease. It is up to the company to establish some of these protective mechanisms. If you are suggesting that there can be no material news tomorrow because an insider bought last week, you are wrong. Eyebrows could or may not be raised depending on what the news is. So, the answer to your question is that there is no magic "shortest time" number for certain type of NRs.
