hmmmmm I wonder why ?  artificail or organic. one or the other.

Never can quite nail the "right time" when it comes to the share price. Too bad short term, but every drop in the market cap makes you go "hmmmm".

Q1 was weak. Q2 likely as well. All temporary hits due to COVID. Earnings due this week, once uncertainty on backlog is lifted and if positive, stock may move up.  But it has gone up recently on no news, so it is likely to pull back as you can see.

Interestingly an article about Blackberry's move today. Nothing fundamental just market sentiment. What is frustrating is that fundamentally one can argue we are not fairly valued, and once we get a move, we get retracement, due to trading. But the day will come when there will be a stronger group of investors that will recognize fundamentals of this company, will move the stock price up and ...more

There are only 3 things for certain in life: 1. Death 2. Taxes 3. All TEI rallies are sold The same thing has been happening for years and years and years because the company hasn't figured out how to keep a good rally going.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 25, 2021 5:51pm
Time of death varies as well as taxes. Can we hope that this time is different and eventually sell-offs keep reaching higher lows?
Comment by AlbertESG on Jan 26, 2021 5:33am
There is some decent support at 11 cents on the downside, but on the upside, we now have to work our way back up through millions of shares of overhead resistance. Think of all the investors/traders who are already down 10-30 percent who will be happy enough to cash out on any new rally just to get their money back. We need something really big to blow us back up through all of that.
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 26, 2021 7:52am
Well, I dont think an "investor" would cash out after a few weeks at breakeven, and a trader would have taken a quicker loss to try to make a quicker buck elsewhere. But, point taken, just like before, we will need a steady stream of news and cause for optimism to see a consistently growing profitable business with occasional mega-projects or a solid acquisition to accelerate the growth. ...more

It all depends on who is buying and who is selling and why?  Are the buyers smarter than you, etc. Your "investment" depends on it, at least for today.  Really glad to see our new friends on the  board finally. Classic shakeout. The 1 percent.

Steam trap retrofits on 100 year old boiler systems just ain't very sexy. They need a weed/crypto/lithium angle, haha.
Comment by AlbertESG on Jan 26, 2021 11:08am
Absolutely. TEI should design a system to reuse the heat coming off of bitcoin mining rigs to dry marijuana waste with the Dryrex. Or at least they should say that they are working on it! That would surely bring the Reddit flash mob stock swarmers our way.

Good time to follow your own advice eh!

Yessir, and I have an Ask waiting a tad higher than where we sit. You?

Out of my cold dead hands.

That is the long-term risk, isn't it?
Comment by TriumphSpitSix on Jan 26, 2021 2:55pm
Sold 100k at .22, average price 9 cents. And down she goes, like clockwork. Not life-changing money but also not a bad day for a working stiff. Still got another 100k waiting a bit higher. Another rally into the close, maybe?
Comment by canyousayiii on Jan 26, 2021 3:04pm
It will take a long time until you can assess how good of a move you really made, unless you buy back the same amount lower. I think there is a lot still on the table here and do not want to gamble with some other plays that I dont know nearly as much.

Truly profound
Comment by Ciao on Jan 26, 2021 8:50am
Nothing profound. Most investors look at year over year results to compare quarters so it was $5M vs $8M the year before, the backlog is $5.5 vs $8.2M same time last year. 6 months rev was $7.8 M vs $12.8M Sure Q2 was better than Q1 but one should look at year over year results and the coming Q's.  The backlog has improved since Nov., but still behind what it was a year ago. If Q2 was ...more

You need to shut up Ciao. Given the pandemic situation last year, nobody was expecting these results. You can take your nothing profoundness somewhere else.

Toxic board.  Newbie investors that cannot handle a straight forward opinion.
Comment by eljoro on Jan 26, 2021 8:59am
It's not the opinion that's the problem; it's how you present your thoughts. Tres douche-y and that's why you get what you get here.
Comment by Nothingmatters on Jan 26, 2021 9:08am
Your opinion would have been straight forward if it would have been a normal year. Looks like you sold your shares cheaply and didnot expect these results. I am sure your expression would have been "I told you so" if the results would have been discouraging. So this is not a toxic board, somepeople like you are. We also bash the company, but not when it is starting to deliver. A start is ...more
