Like this part as well,,,The Company’s GameTree TV platform is gaining momentum and calendar 2013 has marked the start of a more rapid emergence of Smart TV globally and TransGaming has a robust pipeline of discussions underway with market leaders. Service providers are actively pursuing nextgeneration set-top box strategies, TV manufacturers (“OEMs”) are making massive investments in continually updating the connectivity capability of their devices, and Over-The-Top devices are become more pervasive. Recently this was confirmed by Digital TV Research who indicate that Connected TV is set for a massive boom over the next few years, with the number of TVs connected to the internet expected to reach 759 million by 2018 and even more interestingly, the number of installed smart TVs will overtake games consoles connected to the web during 2013 (see https://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2013/10/09/connected-tv-set-to-soar/). The Company has placed greater emphasis on its patent and related Swiftshader product, the world’s fastest pure software based 3D renderer. Management believes that with the rapid shift to multi-core based CPU (central processing unit) architectures there will be increasing convergence with GPUs (graphics processing unit) to a point where systems will have only one type of processing unit, the CPU. This will result in an increasing need for high performance parallel execution, which is required for graphics processing and rendering tasks. In this kind of environment, all graphics processing will ultimately take place in software, making SwiftShader an essential software application. The Company believes SwiftShader has broad scale applicability with hardware companies in addition to ongoing software based applications similar to previous agreements with companies like Adobe, Citrix, and Google.
