RE:question dayindayout wrote: How is it good for transgaming that they sold there technology to Nvidia?
1. They were paid almost $4 Million for it.
2. Selling Cider allows TNG to more sharply focus on their core business, GameTree TV, their Smart TV initiative and other opportunities in the Digital Media Group division of the company.
3. They become an NVIDIA GRID preferred partner, paving the way for NVIDIA's cloud gaming streaming technology to power the GameTree TV service in the future.
4. NVIDIA GRID streaming of GameTree TV could greatly expand distribution, generating increased revenue for TNG.
5. They are actively collaborating with NVIDIA by commiting 15 TNG staff to NVIDIA's new Toronto offices to work on further development and advances in cloud gaming. This arrangement is synergistic in that these two advanced technology companies may end up developing additional products and services in the future that will be profitable to both.
So, there you have it. Five reasons why this transaction was "good" for Transgaming.
