RE:RE:RE:RE:The NVIDIA deal was a great move by Ensing.yyz123, I think the thing is what's your "definition" of a compelling product.
We have Netflix and there's NOTHING really compelling aboui it to us. It's just nice to have when there's nothing on broadcast tv. We can watch reruns of shows or movies we haven't seen in a while. I think it's only about $8 bucks a month and it's a good fall back when there's nothing else on.
If I had young kids and a smart tv I believe I'd feel the same way about Transgaming's offering. It would be something my kids could do and I wouldn't have to worry about excessive violence or nudity or anything else.
The whole question here is VOLUME. Can they just get 1/10 of 1% of people to sign up for this Transgaming service? I think they can and if they do they can upgrade the service to add things like that Social Casino or whatever it is.
This service ISN'T really directed toward people that are looking for COMPELLING gaming. It's directed at people that just want something for themselves or their kids to do if they have freetime and $10 bucks a month extra to spend.
You seem to thinl that there will be NO ONE interested in this service but I think there could be quite a few.
We'll have to wait a while to see who's right.......
