TRANSGAMING'S GAMETREE TV FURTHERS SMART TV SUPREMACY WITH AVAILABILITY ON VIZIO SMART TVS     TransGaming Inc. has launched its GameTree TV cloud gaming service on Vizio smart TVs. The app is now available through Vizio Internet apps Plus, the latest-generation smart TV platform from America's No. 1 smart TV company (1).   As smart TV gaming pioneers, TransGaming ...more

"GameTree TV already reaches millions of consumers, and is proud to add millions more through VIZIO to further reinforce TransGaming's foothold for delivering high quality games to the TV." Hey Vikas, "Show me the money!"

This will be monetized.  Just wait and see.  Step one is to get as large of a foothold as possible.  This was great news.  They basically have everyone on board now.  With the reach they have, advertisement revenue could go through the roof.

What about LG? only the 2nd largest maker of smart TV's in the world...
Comment by DRMacLachlan on Jul 15, 2014 10:18am
If they got number 1, number 2 is coming soon.  No one would want to make the mistake of being left out.
Comment by DRMacLachlan on Jul 15, 2014 10:22am
I do believe investors are interested in the revenues though.  This is a step in the right direction.  All I know is that a website alone with a user base of that many people would be worth more than what TNG is worth alone.  Who wouldn't want to advertise on something that has the potential to reach consumers worldwide.  It's still early but to have number 1 on board ...more

"GameTree TV continues to grow exponentially, throughout North America and the world." Wow, like the word "exponentially"!

I am not so sure if they participate in adline revenues Dr M-that point may need more clarification from IR/TNG. But it is strong evidence as I just posted on earlier-that Gupta has a plan as does the company and they contiue to execute-which is how one should invest-based on company execution and their ability thereof vs cruising internet social media sites and basing your daily rhetoric and ...more

Still missing LG...
Comment by Rothchildish on Jul 15, 2014 12:05pm
So what if they are on every platform, they need ''customers''. They need people playing those games over and over. I just don't see that happening. I still think Swiftshader or their porting suite will be what propels TNG higher. Just think about it, you are on the AppStore, you compete against 200000 other games, why would they choose yours? It's not because it is ...more

rothchildish, i've been following tng for quite some time--several years when it hit around the dollar range and then came to where it is currently trading. the thing that defined tng was cyder and its ability to offer a seamless gaming experience cross platform (as it still does) which paid dividends more so in the past hence the high price point. swift shader i believe ...more

You are not seeing the big picture with Game Tree TV. The method by which large gaming companies deliver their product to consumers has been a constantly evolving series of technologies. It is not out of the realms of possibilities that one large gaming company might see Transgaming's smart tv platform as an attractive way to sell it's games to consumers. If the technological reach is far ...more

Don't get me wrong. I would love to see the company at 1-2-3$. I just don't think that we have anything right now that would justify a huge price increase. I don't see any real value in GameTree Tv, other than a company wanting to buy the already built platform (they wouldn't pay that much).  I would love to hear more from their porting technology or Swiftshader. Sadly, the ...more

FWIW I to would have liked to...and expected too...have seem more developments/agreement updates-rollout and commercial acceptance in regards to news put out by TNG in respect to its swiftshader technology. Instead we have heard nada in what seems longer than the 2nd coming of christ to walk amongst the mortals. SS

Rothchildish, Many thanks for your critical analysis. I hate to be the only person on this board trying to take Gupta to task. He's a master of talking alot and saying nothing. What an intellectual insult for the Ryerson MBA class to whom he lectured recently! The French have a great expression, 'Il nous prend pour des cons!' dpoc

Dpoc "I hate to be the only person on this board trying to take Gupta to task." You actually think your taking Gupta to task on a bullboard thread?- if so than your sense of histrionic importance in what you have to say is exceeded only by DD himself. You want to take a CEO to task? than show up at the AGM and ask your questions from the floor/bully pulpit and if Gupta answers not to ...more

FluidDrummer, You can bet that this is Gupta's 'Last Waltz'. Without a significant growth in Transgaming's earnings, they're toast. The markets won't lend another penny to bankroll the games these people play in Toronto. Just ask the outfit that took a recent equity stake in the company.
