I had a total of 7500 shares to sell and it has been really difficult to sell, even at a slight loss. So far 3 trades over 3 different days and I still have 1000 remain to sell at 51 cents ask. This stock is very illiquid, glad to be almost out.
All microcaps are illiquid to a varying degree, difficult to accumulate a susbtantial position at a good price and difficult to get out if you need to. However, that is exactly what makes microcap stocks the best investment opprotunity on the market. You could buy extremely cheap due to some impatient folks selling, and you could sell extremely high, due to good news while everyone tries to get in raising rapidly the price in the process. Furthermore, due to illiquidity, there is more chance the stock is mispriced (undervalued or overvalued) compared to larger more liquid stocks. Finally, illiquidity will turn away instituional investors (called smart money, not that they are smart though) and most investors and traders in the market, which means very few people are looking into these stocks, less competition to find good ones, and that is the edge of small retail investors such ourselves.
I was sure you would comment with the above!
For the long time followers, be aware that Sean and Paul are in Mtl, Quebec City and St-Urbain for the remainder of the week. I try to get more details (or we will hear from NR really soon), but there will political figures at the Silicon Ridge later this week...
