TCEC Completes First 2 Drill Holes at South Falcon East Tisdale Clean Energy Corp. (TCEC.c or TCEFF for US investors) has completed the initial 2 drill holes at the South Falcon East Uranium Project, located just outside the renowned uranium-rich Athabasca Basin. Positioned approximately 50 km east of the Key Lake uranium mill and former mine, the project has a strategic locale for exploration.
The South Falcon East Project boasts a historic inferred mineral resource of 6.9 Mlbs U3O8, signaling considerable exploration potential.
The TCEC's 2024 drill program aims to drill up to 1500m across two stages, with a primary focus on validating existing mineralization.
Future drill programs will target the expansion of the Fraser Lake B deposit and exploration of various high-priority targets within the South Falcon East region.
The first hole intersected multiple uranium mineralization zones over 13.5m, with notable findings including 0.03% eU3O8 over 4.1 m, including 0.11% eU3O8 over 0.2 m, indicating mineralization continuity.
The second hole aimed to extend mineralization from a historical source and revealed several mineralized zones below 132m, including 0.02% U3O8 over 1.3 m, with 0.05% eU3O8 over 0.1m.
The successful drilling not only affirms the presence of mineralized pegmatites and pelitic paragneiss within the deposit and project area but also lays the groundwork for further exploration endeavors.
Samples from the mineralized intervals within the drill core have been collected and dispatched for analysis. Once the geochemical analysis of the collected drill core samples is completed, reviewed, and confirmed, TCEC will provide more detailed results.
With drilling set to resume later this spring, Tisdale Clean Energy Corp. anticipates uncovering additional mineralization potential within the South Falcon East Project.
