RE: News

RE: NewsThese folks operate on a very tight budget so things have moved slowly, but that same tight budget is now allowing them to keep working when others have been shutting down.  This kimberlite find is significant because it is some distance from most of their others, but more importantly becasue it is an area they were unable to efficiently explore because the magnetic readings were just too noisy.  They have apparently figured out how to process the data and see through the noise, and that means they will be able to explore areas they could not do well before.  So expect more kimberlite announcements soon.

The metals find they announced two weeks back is an awesome story.  The belt they have discovered connects the Zambian Copper Belt (over $110 trillion dollars in minerals taken out over time, at today's prices) to the north and the Matchless Amphibolite Belt (a few trillion dollars taken out) to the west in Namibia.  It is almost inconceivable that there are not commercial desposits of minerals in this belt that connects those two, particularly copper.  And Tsodilo looks like it has locked up the license rights to the entire belt.

There are only 16 million shares out.  Another thing to notice is that a large majority of those shares appear to be held either by insiders or have been issued through private placements, where those people are not looking to dump the shares at a dollar or two but are patiently waiting for a big number.  So when share demand picks up, there will be very little supply.

Have been holding this for a long time, even accumulating when there was no news coming out, because I think that math all works out to a compelling investment.  Has been slow up to now, but it seems that the payoff has to come sooner or later.

We'll see.
