If I remember correctly the first update we got last year was in one of Ken's videos.....I have also not heard a thing yet.
Comment by Larry60 on Apr 08, 2024 5:44pm
Im guessin theyre waitin on a flow through deal to see how large the program will be.  I see no other reason for utter silence.  Its freakin spring alread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its addressed in the big giant MRE update they released earlier this year. They're budget for 2024 is about $9.0 million. some of it is drilling.

most of the budget is allocated to drilling, cost of camp/staff, and helicopters.  A few hundred k for PEA and for Metallurgy. If they can raise money, they will spend alot more.  Probably more than double whats in updated 43101 filed this week. market not impressed with the actual report. But Fordy will just claim  its the "shorters"

The vast majority of the less established juniors have not moved any more than we have....
Comment by Larry60 on Apr 11, 2024 11:14am
Pretty much all my juniors are up at least 50% off of ltm lows and most are near ltm highs. the GDXJ has followed a similar pattern but portfolio is not comparable. TUD alot closer to ltm lows than highs.  that is an exception,
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Apr 11, 2024 12:07pm
I'm not talking about the juniors you've invested in...im talking about junior miners in general.
Comment by Larry60 on Apr 11, 2024 12:39pm
I hear ya JS.  But thats why a pasted chart for the GDXJ in the last post.  50% off the lows and close to ltm highs.  TUD clearly has not followed that path.  TUO and AMK have.  TUDs been lanuishing.  the recent modest pop is more than welcomed.  but far from enough.  And clearly the details in the 43101 filed this week put a damper on that pop, not the ...more

We agree to disagree about shorters.....you read any document on manipulated an shorted stocks.....TUD and this board check every box.
Comment by Larry60 on Apr 11, 2024 1:25pm
TUDs biggest challenge, aside from having to fund 100% of TC to production decision, is that they do not have a solid sharholder base imho.................Yes, they have ES and the late Walter.  But thoy dont support this in the market (in fact, Walter hasnt bought a deal since ive owned this in past 5 years).  Most solid companies have solid shareholder who help support the market and ...more

on the tsx as of april 10th it shows 155, 400 shares shorted in total , that will not have any substantial  effect on the share price
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Apr 11, 2024 7:32pm
When I say shorters I mean manipulators....I believe there is a group who sell to each other in order to manipulate the price. They can hang on to their shares while scooping when others sell, and then benefit on the other end when it runs. Nothing else explains the dumping of shares that's happened here time and again.....
Comment by cskhurasu on Apr 12, 2024 9:36am
Jetstream1281 says ".I believe there is a group who sell to each other in order to manipulate the price". Why would they do this? There's no money in it.  The volume isn't there.
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Apr 12, 2024 10:31am
That's just not true....if they could pick up 25k shares a week and eventually sell them for a 10 cent profit youd make $500k just off of tud...multiply that by whatever other stocks they're manipulating....
Comment by Larry60 on Apr 12, 2024 10:59am
JS, TUD has 235 million shares outstanding.  For 0.15 million to be short is very very low.  For any stock, mining or otherwise.  And that 0.15 million is probably made up of numerous investors, not just one "they" You are grasping at Fordian logic.............. My 2 biggest dogs until this week were TUD and ORV.  Thats why im on SH.......to vent!!!!!!!!!!  ...more
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Apr 12, 2024 11:03am
Larry, comparing orv to TUD is apples to Oranges....they have multiple operating mines.... This is what I meant by well established juniors....those that aren't...like TUD....are pretty much not moving yet.
Comment by Larry60 on Apr 12, 2024 11:18am
My point was on the shorting/manipulation. Having said, take a look at some explorecos. Start with ES's beloved NFG.  Up 50% in the past few weeks.

Brixton and goliath... I can name at least one the hasn't performed for every one that has....or more if I actually looked...
Comment by Larry60 on Apr 12, 2024 12:22pm
i dont own either but know them well. goliath to me is just a very well run promote.   if we had their ir/promote team, we'd be trading for few bucks brixton ive never liked.  but it is lookin cheap and they have a supportive sh base.......and funded for 2024!!!! As far as I can see, TUD up around 28% of its lows.  Much less than most.  And it is further off its ltm ...more

You can skew the data any way you like.....look at a 5 year chart and find a better one than the tc stocks....even with the massive losses they've had...
Comment by Jetstream1281 on Apr 11, 2024 11:00pm
What was the volume yesterday? That seems lole the majority of the shares traded does it not?
Comment by Larry60 on Apr 12, 2024 10:11am
Jetstream, the 150,000 is the TOTAL SHORT POSITION OUTSTANDING ON 04/10.  It is a net cumulative number over time.  The point being, 0.05% of the shares o/s are short. Its a big nuthnball conspiracy that exists in the likes of pumpers.
Comment by cskhurasu on Apr 11, 2024 3:16pm
Shorters are just an excuse. This stock does not have the volue to reward shorters. They focus on high flying stocks that are going up in price, not dying swans like TUD.
