What does 400 meters down plunge mean ?

to date, the high-grade gold-bearing, breccia stockwork system measures approximately 400 m down plunge and over 300 m along a northeastern axis. The true width of the mineralized structure is currently unknown.

These are two of the three dimensions of the ore zone.  If the true width is 10 m, the cell will be:  300 m strike x 400 m deep x 10 m width = 1,200,000 cubic meters If specific gravity is 2.8, then it will be approximately 3,360,000 tonnes. If the grade is 10 g/t, then it will be approx 33,600,000 grams gold At 31.1 g/oz = 1,080,385 oz gold. (based on 10 m width & 10g/t) The ...more
