Nations Royalty started trading

The Nations Royalty (NRC) Golden Triangle based streaming company began trading yesterday.  They have ported the royalty streams, given to First Nations for mines in their territory, into NRC. All five streams are from GT based mines or future mines: Brucejack, Premier, Red Mountain, Kitsault, and notably KSM.

In their corporate presentation they have revenues from KSM beginning in 2029.  Seems pretty optomistic to me, given that the MTT is supposed to take five years to build, and they don't yet have the constructions permits.

Note Frank Guistra and Rob McLeod are involved in NRC.

I suggest reading the corporate presentation available on their website if interested.  https://nationsroyalty.ca/home

CAUTION RE GUISTRA COMPANY INVOLVEMENTS. OREA MINING was suddenly delisted, not halted , from the TSX exchange  one day with no warning.. I was the last buyer completing that day. I had many millions of shares and thought they were OK.....  ... Orea.....   I was wrong.... Don't get ripped off!!!!!!

Nomore, thanks for the heads up. I wasn't following Orea.

One implication of this NRC royalty on KSM, is it highlights another group with a major incentive to see KSM go forward; i.e. the Giustra / McLeod group, in addtion to the Seabridge group. Arguably, it is another influential group that would like to see the MTT get approved to the detriment of the Treaty Creek group.  It's plausible that they are putting whatever pressure they can on the ...more

67% (US $146 million) of the NPV of NRC is attributed to KSM.  Again, huge incentive for the NRC group to exert influence to see KSM move forward. Also, I forgot to mention that Sprott Resource Streaming is also waiting for their silver and all metal NSRs on KSM to kick in.  So Tudor is facing significant, financially powerful groups that would like to see Seabridge obtain the MTT ...more

They better get on that partnership/JV before any tunnel happens. At 22 odd kms the cost would be astronomical. Shorter tunnels have bankrupted companies in the past and left portals to nowhere behind them. It's going to take some very deep pockets and most of these majors are heavily invested in developing current projects that are still years away from production. Not saying it won't ...more

Captain, from what I've read on SEA over the last couple of years, used to be an investor, they haven't picked any particular deposit within the KSM, that's a waiting game as they find a JV partner. In the mean time they continue to add resources, it does keep growing, that's for sure but they've halted all further drilling, apparently no need anymore. It's JV time, and for ...more

Hi!, lots of great content 'mostly' lol! To your point, I do wonder what a 'Production Decision' would look like.  Could TUD after a PEA say, "We're going to Production!"?  Walter Storm and others with KK have been deeply involved with 'going to production'. KK is on record estimating that TC would be a mine by 2030. CS600 certainly looks capable by ...more

A production decision would normally take place after a bankable feasibility study.  Tudor might be able to sneak it forward slightly.  But it should have to take place after the exploration for the mine plan is complete; the original option agreement probably specifies the exact details. I think it is unlikely they could mine by 2030; that would be a surprise to me.  If the mine ...more

I said a production decision would normally take place after a bankable feasibility study, however, there are exceptions. Our neighbor, with a massive project in KSM, has not yet completed a bankable feasibility study, but they essentially already comitted. They have applied for "Officially Started" status to ensure the permits remain valid at KSM, and have spent hundreds of millions ...more

rockport, agreed that SEA is a good example. theyve spent around $500 million the past few years alone moving through feas. A solid prefeas report is not out of the question, but we are still a couple of years away from that at a minimum (and I dont mean PEA when I say prefeas).  If you had enough workd done, and had environmental and other permits, within the realm of possibility... ...more

No credible project of size would ever make a production decision without a bankable feas in place. I would assume that the JV agreement specifies that a completed feasibility is required to before a decision can be made.  Ive posted standard verbiabe in the past of what you would usually see in the decision and requried agreement amongst parties to the JV. As SEA has demonstrated, as have ...more

Thank you for the response NL. That's what I thought but I didn't look at technical reports, just the easily accessible stuff on their website. I think a focused plan on one of the deposits would be key for a major. Found a few silly spelling mistakes while reading and really seemed like reading one big sales pitch from a used car salesman. Yes the deposit is big, grades stil low, cost ...more
