RE: RE - OlderWhat can you do about it: 1. Sell your shares and come back when management changes 2. Get a slate of board candidates to run for Board and get them elected. 3. Call and voice your complaint - directly. 4. Attend AGM and put them on the spot. Of all these #1 is best, #2 can work if you're organized and the rest are feel good manoevres with limited effect. And IMO get rid of IR person, he has done nothing since getting there. Nice guy in person but performance wise...seems like no skills.
Thanks for the reply. I like the fact that we are actually getting focus from some on the actual issues at hand.
In terms of practicality you are probably correct, however management here will NEVER change. in my opinion, unless the company goes right out of business, or they just get so old that they have to retire. As well, that action probably made more sense a bit ago with the share price higher. So number one, does free those people who just want to walk away and take their losses. Number 2 is possible as I mentioned in the post just before this one. 3. I have done this, contrary to what some here post. Both in writing and verbal. I suggest EVERY shareholder who is not satisfied do this. If they do not, then they are truly apethetic.IMO 4. Absolutely: if I am in the country at the time, I will definitely attend. As I travel a great deal, it is an issue at times.
So we agree in general, and #2 should be a consideration. We have the internet these days, and communication is so much easier.
As far as IR. It fits a pattern, which I believe once again falls more under the seniour managements ability. I am not sure these nice guys, are not tied down and constrained. I do not know what goes on between them and senior managment and the BOD. But in any case the performance is weak, from where I sit.
