From their website, this outlines the parameters under which the AIDEA will consider funding. The graph suggests they are involved in the middle to end of the progress stage of a development. the first 3 stages, Seed capital, venture finance and private equity, in Ucore's case appear to be satisfied with the help of JV's and the investor from the Ketchikan shipyards. Since 2020 has been chosen as the construction completion, it would appear that at least we are moving forward toward receiving some of the benefits of this fund. Also of note are the 6 metrics, especially the last one that suggests projects must have sales contracts. I'm not the best business mind, but why would a company develop their process, choose a location, source out partners and create joint ventures if there wasn't at least a reasonable chance at success? It's not easy being patient and there's no guarantees but all the nonsense that finds it's way onto this board is truly boring.
