I'm getting sceptical that this project will ever get off the ground.  I know much has been made of their ability to raise money in a very difficult environment, but $5 M doesn't go very far when there is no income being generated to pay the very basic costs of running a company such as salaries.  It seems a lot is riding on a big handout from the U.S. governments and if you read the post that Langstrumpf left I get the impression there is some waffling going on.  Read:  getting at the rare earth elements is complex and getting more and more complicated the more we look at it.  This coming from a USGS funded study.  That doesn't resonate well with me.  Don't know how everyone else feels about it.
