Note:

mining or milling uranium ores, excluding operations for recovering mineral sands or rare earths

Some public servant is confusing Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material with Technically Enhanced NORM, Lynas material is a low level 6Bq in the ore, 6Bq in the concentrate, and the same 6Bq in the residues and classified as NORM.

Mineral sands miners are regularly receiving permits for NORM levels 10x, this is more an issue of Lynas losing time it can ill afford while some PS comes up to speed with the regulations and what they actually mean.

Test for our State & Fed Govt's to prove they are actually serious about supporting this industry and honoring their recently signed committment to US.
