RE:Why, I wonder, Magnets

RE:Why, I wonder, MagnetsBS fantasy, China & Japan have been competing ferociously in NdFeB development, particularly past decade, and most particularly in high end mags for traction motors past few years.

3D printing only suited for very basic, low strength bonded mags, basically fridge magnets.

If you want to see what  REAL magnet production looks like, ONE company producing nearly FOUR times US imports:

"high-performance NdFeB permanent magnet material production base project with an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons"

https://www.repe.com.cn/?news_122/785.html

Trump's $800M is little more than a corrupt circle jerk designed to enrich the spruikers, the US has sadly surrendered to Chinese control NdFeB/PMM space.

Your children, grandchildren & great grandchildren can all look forward to driving Chinese built vehicles, if they can afford one.
