Stop Loss Lesson

Stop Loss LessonGood Morning All,
Rod, asked a very good question and I thought that I would share the answer with you all.  The question was on Stop Losses.  The uses of stop losses depends on who your broker is.  Some brokers will not let you use a stop loss on a penny stock.  Some brokers won't even let you buy Ucore.  If you have Ucore in your stock portifilo then I would say you can use stop losses, but I would check with your broker just to be sure.

The stop loss is in four types, but we will only be dealing with two types.  The regular or manual stop loss which is set at one price to sell if the stock falls to that price or below that price.  The other is the following stop loss.  Because of computers reaction being better than ours in setting trades.  The brokers computer can be set to follow the price of a stock up in a gain.  Either by a set dollor amount or percent.  Example:  Ucore shoot to ten bucks a share.  A stop loss can be set to follow Ucore at two bucks below.  If Ucore goes to twelve then the stop loss moves up to ten.  Then the Ucore falls to eight.  The stop loss will sell out the number of share you set in the stop loss at ten locking your profit and letting you buy back in at the lower price.
For the record I use TDAmeritrade because of the ease using the stop loss setup.  I lucked out in that I choose TD for other reasons many years ago.

As I have said before I think that Ucore will have three spikes in price this year.  The first when results are posted.  The second when grants and/or loans are approved for the SMC in Ketchikan.  The third if Ucore cuts any licensing deal for RSX this year.
Also I would like to point out something a lot of people have missed.  Reread the last PR and ask yourself how make irons in the fire did Ucore have going this last year.  They are not concertrating one just one thing and asking what is next.  They have worked in many areas setting up steps that are ten to twelve steps out.  How many of you noticed that they when to the local college near Ketchikan to see about getting courses set up to train workers for a plant that is not even build yet.
I hope that helps any who are thinking of using stop losses when Ucore spikes.
Good day,
Dragon
