RE:Bottom Line

RE:Bottom LineRod, you still be;ieve the RSX 3 to 6 times speedup claims from Rytan, based on an indpendent report Ucore still has not shown? Ryan is like Trump - exagerrations increase the more he tells it - from 2 to 3 times, now 3 to 6 times.

Ucore might be lucky if it gets RSX to be as fast as SX on an annualized basis, when all set up and maintenance time is included. Anyone remmeber when farm claimed CDP commissioning and trials would bne very fast, because Ucore coudl just write the chenical reaction equations on a board? I told him that's now how chemical engineering works, especially for a new process. EIther RSX is the same as SX, in which case it won't be faster, or it's different, in which case ir requires process control development and tuning, which is not easy and takes time, even with world class personnel, which I'm not sure are populating the CDF and the management (Ryan!!) overseeing it.

BTW, when I spoke wiith Mark M last year, he tried to blame all Ucore woes on McKenzie, neglecting to point out that he (Mark M) was part of the McKenize administration.

I give the holt and cold running water award to Rod. He has oscaillted many, many times between extreme optimism and pessimism on Ucore (and its management).
