RE:RE:June 5, 2014Don't know if what IMC had 9 years ago was the same as Rapid SX. But in any event, they didn't call it that then. IMC wanted to build a tolling separation plant which could separate a variety of feedstocks, but it never got the funding or deals to build the plant. Then a deal to be acquired by an Australian company fell through, then Ucore bought IMC, and less than 2 years later, fired the IMC people. At this point, the investing public has no idea whether Ucore has managed to separate any REEs in the CDF, let alone faster and cheaper than SX.
