Pip, Rod, Rapid, and even Bob, points we are in agreement.Okay Guys,
We disagree about a lot of things, but what do we agree upon? So I sat down and tried to come with a list. If you disagree with me. Well none of you are shy about posting your reasons why you don't agree. So I ask again, what do we agree upon?
POINT 1: I think that all of us would agree that world governments and companies want to break China hold on REEs.
POINT 2: China has separation of REE locked down pretty tight, having used CCCP money to run every company doing separation out of business so long ago that anybody starting today is relearning from old manuals and books. Example of MP needing the Chinese help to get up and running.
POINT 3: Would you agree that DOD has support what little separation there is outside of China. Lynas and MP got money to try and bring old tech on line to fill the need if China stops exporting.
POINT 4: While supporting old tech, DOD has beed looking around for new tech to replace it. Money to REEMF and others.
Thank you Rapid for that last video, I had not seen it.
POINT 5: Thanks to Rapid's video, I would think we can agree that DOD is looking for three things.
1. Tech that does both lights and heavies REEs, so you only have to build one plant. 2. Tech that is cheaper, faster, and greener than SX. 3. Tech that can deliver custom oxides to meet DOD needs.
POINT 6: Again thanks to Rapid's video, we know that the award is open ended. They get more money to build the commercial plant when they meet DOD goals.
So it comes down to. Can Ucore meet DOD goals and get the money.
POINT 7: We all agree that for Ucore to do anything it needs funding. Pip thinks that it will come from the stockholders, Me, I think DOD will step up. From things that I have seen. DOD generally follows through on award contracts.
Now if I have missed anything that we might agree on. Please free to add to the list.
