Will be interesting to see...

Will be interesting to see...

if an additional critical mineral ban proceedes Commerce Secretary Raimondo's visit to China later this month.
After all, it is Commerce which has been instituting the semiconductor export controls to China. So, if the Treasury Secretary was treated to a gallium and germanium ban, then one can imagine what would follow here...

Also, saw news on Friday that we now have another export ban in place on nuclear power controls going to China  (https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-tightens-export-controls-nuclear-power-items-china-2023-08-18/).
Predictably, the CCP responded on Saturday with this provocatively titled video: US Rebuilding Rare Earth Supply Chain, but it will take at least 10 years to "get rid of China".

Videos like these do use AI generated narrators and video slide show graphics (like the videos of a certain company I won't name :)) but the text/copy for them you can be sure was written by a political official.
Lifton, Ecklestone, Lynas, MP, and the Critical Minerals Institute all get special mentions in this piece. But not (yet) UCORE.

:0

P.S. While we wait on Ucore, this would be a good time to focus our attention on another worthy company in the critical minerals refining field: One World Lithium.
As I have said before, this is a company whose technology has some serious "game changing" potential. And I think we will all be hearing more about it in the coming months. Remember: always diversify you portfolios.

:)

P.S.S. Tesla, Tesla, Tesla. (I did that to get extra views on this post--always works :)).
