As I'vd said before, same chemistry doesn't mean same chemical engineering. if chemical engineering were the same, RSX would be the same speed as SX. Chemical engineering to get a new process working well or reliably isn't easy. Perhaps Ryan now apptreciates that after more than 9 monhs of commissioning effort. And BTW, firing the developers of the new process before it is implemented for the first time probably doesn't make things any easier.
And what exactly does "westernize" mean? Just a meaningless buzzword.
