I'm looking for a bit of input. My father in law passed away in may. He left me 300 shares of Tesla stock. Current value is 76k CAD. I'm told that Tesla is about to split. What to do ? Thanks

also he was a commercial fisherman back in the 70s fished salmon halibut and herring made a boat load of money. Anyways he got me on to Ucore and at one time he had 1.1 million shares ended up dumping it all after the IBC nightmare at a huge loss. But these Tesla shares could do something I'm open to all ideas

Top of my head, tesla has cybertruck coming out, doing deals opening up their chargers to ford and GM, close to autonomous and may have robots in their future i do think it will probably triple by 2030  ( kathy wood thinks its 10x by 2027   Way to lofty)

Don't roll it into ucore, no matter how much funding u think it's gonna get. U have enough ( jmho) tesla is an awesome company, been on a tear Nothing wrong with riding it, it's volatile but not the worst company to just hold and let them do what they do. energy storage, solar, battery, EVs, maybe robo taxis ( which would be huge).  Robotics wouldnt be surprised if they own some

Dear Rod, I own Tesla also.  Rode it through the first two splits.  My advice let it ride.  Here is why.  Back in the 90s.  I made a lot of money off splits and learn a few things.  There is generally a pattern to splits, that goes like this.  Splits are used a dividend when the company is growing.  Ride the stock until the they start paying a dividend.

It hurts me to agree with dragon   Lol splits mean nothing but in this case, as long as musk alive, i would ride tesla too i was buying a bit  at around $150   Someone, who should remain nameless ( bob) thoughtit was going to 50 its real volatile but right now trading well Wouldnt shock me to see $1000 this decade musk crushing competetors    He is still way ahead on
