... I think it would be anomaly if they ...... hit hydrothermally intensely altered lower plates carbonates in holes 2/3/4 over long intervals but failed to pick up at least some gold mineralization and pathfinder minerals. Now that would be a major anomaly to find nothing considering that everything they were hoping to drill into at SGV has been encountered on holes 2/3/4. The only missing piece are the assays which should be out be end of November on the earliest holes according to tentative time lines that have been discussed by anaylsts that have been covering the story.
I read an article on the history or the Carlin discovery. They kept getting sniffs of low grade gold but nothing that was economic at the time. Group after group gave up on the target until Newmont finally made the discovery in 1961 (I believe). Even a sniff of gold at SGV on the early holes should be well received by the market because it should signal there is abpotential higher grade deposit nearby.
And even though Kaiser has stated they haven’t hit realgar/orpiment, it doesn’t mean they won’t find gold in the holes. There still could be gold present but not the highest grade stuff that they are hoping to eventually vector in on.
Don’t listen to me though. I am a novice investor.
