RE:890 ppt gold in groundwater at Kelly Creek... I think Kelly Creek looks very very promising. They have confirmed 0.1 gram/MT in 3 bedrock samples taken from Scorpion Rig drilling that we 560 metres apart. (Doesn't sound like much but the gold in bedrock seems to be present right from bedrock/alluvial contact to the end of the Scorpion Rig holes where they maxed out their depth cabalities. If you think this is trivial, check out the Marigold deposit diagram showing grades and see how many tonnes are outlined at less than 0.06 grams/MT Au.
Earlier this spring, there was some discussion to raise enough money to drill both SGV and KC this fall. And Kelly Creek at one point was the priority but for some reason, they switched focus to SGV as funds were limited to only one drill program.
I am not sure why SGV was prioritized but I am guessing it could be because Kelly Creek is most likely and Upper Plate lower grade deposit and because Newmont has checkboard staked the same area and they don’t want to do all the expensive dirty work to confirm a discovery there which potentially extends to Newmont’s claims.
The program at SGV is 100% NGE’s and it is targeting a Lower Plate deposit which tend to be higher grade and more profitable to mone.
But don’t listen to me. I am not a geologist. I am a novice investor who happens to be long a decent chunk of NGE shares waiting patiently for the first set of assays, a program update, and the plan for 2019 that vectors in on the source of the gold in ground water anomalies at SGV.
