I think he looked at the ni 43-01 really hard and found something real intriguing for him to add a significant portion to his current holdings.  The timing speaks volumes.... Gold is the way to go.  It's a further vote of confidence when a big investor such as an ex-CEO of goldcorp invests in your company, you know your in great hands, especially when you have the goods to prove it.
