It depends on your perspective.  I figured (around 1.5 cents) that it was almost certain this dog was going to
.  So, when it recovered on the announcement, I sold at $.09 to $.095.  In doing so, I felt great relief at getting some of my original capital back.  I also disciplined myself at the time to anticipate the sellers' remorse that would come if the share price kept moving.  So, today, I can view "miss[ing] the run" with some equanimity.

And, in any event, there's some probability (although I wouldn't estimate odds, since we've no information to judge) that this situation could languish in a sideways pattern - perhaps providing a chance to buy back in at lower prices - or even a chance that the deal falls through.

You should never look at things one-sided.  You have to look at what your personal risk tolerance is, what you did instead with the capital and the risk/reward ratio.

But, you have to be disciplined, because if it does run away the natural inclination is to use hindsight to evaluate your own judgment.
