RE: Any comments???

RE: Any comments???GoJerez:  Not to be presumptuous but I'm assuming you're not in Canada.  The environment is quite different from what you've been experiencing.

Firstly, there's lots of money in Calgary for juniors with a good story.  The only capital shortage is for conventional gassy companies, not as difficult for gassy unconventionals and practically not at all for oily juniors.  There's ton(nes) of moola sloshing around from the billions made from previous M&As and overseas projects.

As for their ability to go around VER I have several thoughts.

First, it's hard to construct a JV that allows the company with the land but no money to keep control.  They could get money in a trice if they simply sold out.  But they don't want to.  So that narrows their options.

Secondly, I feel myself reasoning that if they could have done a deal with someone else in a JV rather than outright sale then they probably would have already.  The delays must be driving them nuts too.

A final thought.  Let's say my speculation is wrong and they could readily step around VER.  Yet they haven't.  That suggests to me that there is something in it for them that we don't fully understand that incents them to continue on the path with VER.

Regards,
Naamkat
