Let's talk about Antibiotics for a minute!

Let's talk about Antibiotics for a minute!
In 2010, I went lunching in this Chinese buffet with an old buddy of mine while we were renovating my house. When I go into a buffet, my dessert is usually a whole plate of spareribs.... While I was having my sugary spareribs, my friend couldn't believe I was eating that much pork. I said why, you don't eat pork? He said yes, but not much, because it's the animal they give the most antibiotics on the market and with all the antibiotics being given to them, it can effect our immune system and also destabilize our lymphatic system that regulates our body glands. Well, OK, thanks for the advise, next time I'll have ice cream instead...... I won't write an essay on the antibiotics subject, but, the medical research are more and more aware that the next big epidemic could come from some bacteria's that are becoming more and more resistant too the antibiotics vaccine that we now know. Since, Sir Alexander Fleming discovered the penicillin in 1928, all the new vaccine that were discovered after, the lasting of their effects on bacteria are shorter and shorter. Antibiotics searcher are facing a big dilemma, finding the new vaccine that could last longer on the resistant bacteria that could lead us into the next big epidemic in the next decade.... (Look at CBC documentary call: The antibiotic hunters presented on March 5 on the Nature of things). Most of the people know by now, that they shouldn't get rid of their old pills, by flushing them in the toilet bowl. Some of them last so long in the rivers that it affect any life form in it, plus it get back in our system while coming back from the water treatment plant. So, after all that saying, Avivagen are on something big out here. If their Patent OxC-beta was to become the next big step in the livestock feeding, boy it would be so huge, that it could become a Nobel prize for this. I'm not kidding here, company like ConAgra or Cargill would buy us in no time. Since we are doing our tests in Asia (Korea, Vietnam, Thailand) let me post this: One of the largest Asian feed producers is Charoen Pokphand (the CP Group), a Thai company producing 18 million tonnes of compound feed at various locations across East Asia............... So, imagine if it's recognize has an alternative to antibiotics, we are already in the country of one of the biggest producer of livestock food in all Asia. (That include India, China, Russia, a lot of people and country that don't take 10 years of research like the FDA or Health Canada and the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) to accept a new alternative in the food industry). Enough for today, good luck to all the longs......
