I did, in fact, preface my query with: “It happens all the time,” so I am well aware that a closing date will normally be specified. My question sought the beneficial purpose for such a declaration. If one of many insignificant reasons could result in a Private Placement not closing on a specified date, wouldn’t that be reason enough not to specify a date? Why increase the probability of share price exposure to opportunity traders?
