RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:How much could be a buyout?always fun to speculate. rounding the numbers off , if the entire market is about 1.7 billion and we have about 170 million shares, we wold see per share sales of $10 however, VPT would not constitute 100% of a unit but just a part and there is still acost of manufacture and sales costs etc and we might not sell a VPT module with each unit.. so what might be annual revenue?? - maybe 20 to 50 cents TOPS. That might translate into a share valuation of maybe $2. once all the ducks are in a row.
I think , unfortunately the buyout will be some percentage of that. In real terms maybe the 60 cents the price bounced off a couple of times this year is closer to the truth than we would like to think.
Looking at it another way, if a VPT unit sells for about $100,000 (and that is gross with out overhead costs etc.) then 10 units sold brings in $1 million to get to 1 billion you would have to sell 10,000 units. At the current sales rate, that might take a goodly number of months to sell that many!!
But maybe I am not looking at this the right way. Since we have not really sold too many so far , maybe we do not need to, maybe at some point someone will just make a buyout offer based on the story. I have heard (but not confirmed) that publishers pay people money to write stories.
