The article re Sumitomo battery was dated 2013. Didn't see any news about a current installation. ??

This old story has been around for some time now. Supposed pictures previously, along with an  artist's updated conceptualization of what this proposed battery/wind farm looks like will be operatonal by 2022.

So this is the second VRFB installed on the island of Hokkaido,by Sumitomo Electric. How time flies! Uni Energy Technologies has been the supplier along with their latest generation electrolyte. They must be ahead of their time.
