I bought this a few years back, tucked it away and forgot. Just checked back in...ouch. Will this ever trade again? What's going on?

You sound like a very diligent investor. Will VRB ever trade again? Well the CEO told me on October 5th that "trading was just days away". But maybe he meant months or years away in which case you can tuck your investment away and not have to bother checking it for another few years.
