Apparently, company did very well until last year when warm winter and lowering oil price caused interest to shift markedly for wood pellets. Hopefully VRD got a very good deal here.

Confluence Energy, LLC produces wood pellet biomass fuelin the rocky mountain region. It offers pellet products, commercialboilers, landscaping materials, animal bedding, and litters, as well aslumber harvesting services. The company was incorporated in 2007 and isbased in Kremmling, Colorado. On July 29, 2010, an involuntary petitionfor reorganization under Chapter 11 was filed against Confluence EnergyLLC in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.
